An essential element in furniture
We use natural-coloured metal for our furniture. The metal is not painted or sprayed, but treated with a powder coating to protect the metal against external influences such as moisture or sunlight.
Powder coat
The metal parts of the frame are first welded together. The sharp edges are ground away, the weld seams remain visible. That gives the furniture a tough and industrial look. The frame is then powder coated. Powder coating is one of the best finishes used on metal. The powder is magnetic and covers the whole surface. Heating in the oven makes the powder liquid and it adheres to the metal frame.
Care
Metal care is not necessary because of the powder coating treatment.
