What is Jeans Fabric?

Jeans fabric, often referred to as denim, is a versatile fabric that you are naturally familiar with from the fashion world. Jeans fabric is made from 100% cotton. Denim consists of a weave in which two groups of yarns are at right angles to each other. The stonewash finish gives this fabric an industrial and vintage look, and every meter of fabric has a different unique aspect. Cotton is a very sturdy material and ventilates well when used. That is why it is also an ideal material for furniture! A sofa made of jeans fabric is a real eye-catcher in any interior!

Care of Jeans / Denim Fabric

It is important to brush the denim fabric lightly on a regular basis. Always use a furniture brush and brush gently in the direction of the pile/grain. When vacuuming, always use a soft brush (furniture nozzle) in combination with low suction power. Vacuum carefully and in the direction of the pile so that the fabric is roughened as little as possible.

Are there stains in the denim fabric? Never let the stain dry. First, remove as much of the solid particles as possible with a spoon. Then immediately place a slightly damp terry towel on the stain and leave it for a few hours so that it can completely dissolve the stain. Never rub the fabric or stain too hard, as this can damage the fabric.

Like most natural materials, denim fabric can be susceptible to stains. Therefore, always give your new furniture the best protection by using our iProteqt service. This unique service not only protects your furniture against stains, it also extends your warranty with a 5-year stain and construction service. More information about iProteqt can be found here.
